Foundations…..
The CPC program is eclectic in content and is based on an action-learning model. The theoretical basis of the program is drawn from a number of behavioural sciences, neurolinguistic programming, psychology, adult learning, knowledge of human motivation, development and change, organisational development and the very latest research in leadership, management and continuous improvement.
Importantly, our program is a coaching experience rather than a training program. You are coached on a one-to-one basis as you are learning to coach others.
What You Receive... (Scheduled workshop mode program)
Now in its seventh year, the CPC is a part-time 115 hour course, comprising 50 hours face-to-face interactive workshops over 16 weeks plus additional practical coaching experience and research. It is designed, written and delivered entirely by Australian coaches. The course is facilitated by the senior and most experienced coaches with CoachCorp. Ross Gillespie and Graham Hoult are post-graduate qualified coaches with success in CEO and senior management roles, coaching and consulting to industry across Australia. Ross is an experienced workplace coach, an ICF member and founder of CoachCorp. Graham Hoult has eight years of experience in coaching senior executives.
Action-Learning
You will have plenty of practical coaching, skills rehearsals, observe others coaching, and actively participate in 12 workshops, varying from 3 to 8 hours. Additionally, you will undertake about 65 hours of extended reading and research, one-on-one personal coaching, pro-bono coaching programs with your own clients, short assignments, a major report on your Coaching-In-Action project and engage with the coaching community. This is an experiential, liberating and challenging program. It offers sound adult and action-learning principles, skills in using profiling tools, a powerful coaching/mentoring model, a 400 page manual, tool kit, and valuable networking and fun with like-minded professionals.
Recognition
The
course is recognised by Charles Sturt University which grants
credit into its Bachelor of Vocational Education and Bachelor
of Education courses and it can be recognised by the International
Coach Federation (Australasia) in its portfolio certification
process for your registration as a Certified Coach.
